This Gift Helps Demonstrate My Values

I've always been inspired and amazed by gardens! Their designs and natural processes are so intricate. I am further inspired when creative gardeners highlight these processes in a formal garden. The visual surprises are always exciting and fun!

I welcomed the chance to join New England Botanic Garden's Board of Trustees in 2017 to have the chance to build on visionary efforts by such friends and prior leaders as Dean Arvidson and Phil Beals. They helped move Worcester County Horticultural Society's activities to Boylston. I, like you, have benefited from their foresight.

Tower Hill's ability to respond to future opportunities means so much to me that I have been looking for ways to support it- beyond the donations of my time, annual and campaign gifts. So, I have included the organization in my will. This gift will eventually add to the NEBG endowment, strengthen its programs, and allows future generations to experience the Garden's delights. Such a bequest is not only a financial gift. It is also a statement to my family and friends of how important the mission of Tower Hill is to me. The bequest helps demonstrate my values.

I committed to an amount that makes sense now, but I look forward to increasing that gift if circumstances allow. Although I'm generally a private person, I hope that a statement like this prompts others to take similar steps.
